Becoming a Google Partner means that we’re now recognized for maximizing campaign success for clients, driving client growth by maintaining client campaigns, and demonstrating Google Ads skills and expertise with certifications. As a Google Partner, Mindgruve will have access to a wider range of benefits, including the ability to showcase the Google Partners badge on our website and marketing materials.

Earning the Google Premier Partner badge is no small feat. It took a great deal of hard work, time, and grit from our team members to reach this goal. Below are a few highlights of what was accomplished in 2021, which allowed us to be recognized as a top performer to clients and the industry!

Becoming a Google Partner:

In order to become a Google Premier Partner, our agency first needed to become a Google Partner. This is based on three categories: performance, spend, and certifications.

  • Performance: 
    • The performance requirement ensured that we can effectively set up and optimally run Google Ads campaigns to achieve the greatest results for our clients.
    • Our Google Partners registered Ads manager account needed to have a minimum optimization score of 70%. 
  • Spend:
    • Our Google Partners registered Ads manager account needed to maintain a 90-day ad spend of $10,000 USD across managed accounts.
  • Certifications:
    • Our Google Partners registered Ads manager account needed to have a minimum of 50% of our account strategists certified in Google Ads, with at least one certification in each product area with campaign spend of $500 USD or more in 90 days. These product areas include search, display, video, shopping, and apps.

Client Growth:

This determined the ability for Mindgruve to grow our existing clients and acquire new clients, measured by year-over-year ads spend growth and ads spend among first-time Google Ads clients.

Client Retention:

We demonstrated the ability to sustain client business, measured by the percentage of clients retained year-over-year.

Product Diversification:

We invested in results-focused product mix beyond search, measured by the percentage of spend in display, apps, video, and shopping, each calendar year.

Annual Ads Spend:

We invested in Google Ads or Google Marketing Platform, measured by spend across managed accounts each calendar year.

Mindgruve can now fully access all the Google Premier Partner benefits, including product betas, insights briefing, and executive experiences. This will help us further maximize opportunity and continue to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
