San Diego’s top digital marketing and technology firm going for the gold at national level

SAN DIEGO, CA – March 4, 2013 – Mindgruve today announced huge wins at the 2013 San Diego ADDY Awards. At the March 1 event, the digital marketing and technology firm took home a total of thirteen awards, making Mindgruve the most awarded company in the competition with twice the wins of any other digital or advertising agency. With a 2013 gold ADDY for an innovative employee handbook under their belt, Mindgruve moves on to compete with the top-rated work from fifteen other AAF districts.

“With the initial concepts of the employee handbook, we knew it had huge potential” said Clint Walden, Executive Creative Director at Mindgruve. “We took a normally dry deliverable and created a very unique piece that showcases our personality. I’m confident that this type of creative solution will get much more attention as it moves ahead to regionals.”

In addition to the gold-winning Mindgruve Employee Handbook, five projects earned silver ADDYs, four earned bronze ADDYs, and three took home People’s Choice Awards. The corporate digital and print style guide for MDVIP, the newly-developed MDVIP corporate website, the Visit Carlsbad testimonials microsite, the U-T San Diego news app for iPad, and Mindgruve’s own corporate site took home silver. Bronze winners included the Chickasaw Country mobile and desktop sites, the “Carlsbad is Where…” integrated campaign for Visit Carlsbad, and MDVIP Connect, the custom-built portal designed for MDVIP members. The MDVIP corporate website, the Premium Rewards logo, and the Mindgruve Cookie Booth at last year’s Interactive Day San Diego event all won over industry peers for a People’s Choice Award.
