Melissa Lopez, a marketing and advertising veteran, will be overseeing marketing operations and business development as Director of Performance Marketing. With particular skill and interest in brand development, media planning, and performance-based campaigns; Melissa has lent her talents to prestigious agencies like Geary LSF, where she worked as VP of Client Services; and Castle Advertising, her professional home for over ten years. She is also Chairman of the Board for the San Diego Ad Club. Melissa’s past clients include University of Phoenix, Marriott Hotels, and Cadillac.
JJ Bannasch will run Mindgruve’s paid media division as Director of Media. JJ has extensive agency experience and is proficient in creating innovative, result-oriented media strategies focused on performance-based marketing and multi-click optimization. As Media Director at Geary LSF, JJ led the award-winning media team and pioneered in search marketing. He has expertly managed a number of agency leadership roles throughout his career and has also worked as a media consultant to other Southern California agencies for the last decade. JJ has collaborated with clients including Peer 1 Hosting, Strayer University, and Colgate-Palmolive.
Michael Bowen brings more than ten years of experience to his role as Director of Performance Optimization at Mindgruve, where he will oversee analytics and SEO. During his time as Director of Performance Marketing at Geary LSF, Michael worked with clients throughout a variety of industries to build business models and analyze key data to recommend strong marketing strategies. Michael is a performance, analytics, and digital design aficionado who specializes in conversion rate optimization, analytics, SEM and SEO, and attribution modeling. His know-how has propelled clients like Kyocera, Oracle, and Treasure Island to greater success.
