We’re thrilled to announce that Mindgruve has been named a finalist for PPC Agency of the Year at the 2025 Search Engine Land Awards — one of the most prestigious honors in the search industry.

This recognition celebrates our team’s relentless focus on performance, innovation, and strategic impact in paid search. Being selected alongside industry leaders such as NBC, Marriott, and Grey Goose is a testament to the work we execute for clients every day.

The Campaign: Super Bowl Performance on a Startup Budget

The campaign that earned this spot was a Super Bowl activation for a global electronics brand. With just a fraction of the typical media budget for that weekend, we had to deliver outsized results fast.

We leveraged Google Performance Max (PMax) campaigns to optimize every dollar across search, display, YouTube, and discovery. Our media strategy focused on driving bottom-funnel conversions, like retailer clicks and where-to-buy leads, despite the limited budget and creative constraints.

The Results

Even without new creative assets, our team built a strategy that delivered massive performance at one of the most competitive moments in media.

  • 139% above lead goal (10,630 leads vs. 4,436 projected)
  • 132% above click goal (2,870 retailer clicks vs. 1,236 projected)
  • $1.68 cost per lead (vs. $4.50 target)

How We Did It: Innovation at the Core

The results helped our work become recognized. But how we got there is what really set us apart. As part of our performance marketing engine, we continue to develop proprietary tools that help us draw from smarter data decisions to scale faster:

  • AI-Powered Optimization: Our models forecast outcomes, adjust bids, and detect anomalies in real time.
  • Sightline Analytics: Our custom platform helps us interpret performance data and turn it into actionable insights.
  • Process Rigor: From rapid pre-launch testing to in-flight optimizations, we apply performance discipline to every phase of a campaign.

This finalist recognition builds on our 2024 Google Agency Excellence Award win, where we drove a 97% increase in conversion volume and a 51% cost efficiency gain.

Looking Ahead

With momentum building and more opportunities ahead, the team remains focused on what matters most: impact.

“Our focus continues to be on delivering measurable impact through search, whether that’s tapping into new formats like Performance Max, using AI tools to guide optimization, or helping brands maximize every dollar of their media investment,” said Joey Bridges, VP, Global Search at Mindgruve. “Being named a finalist for PPC Agency of the Year is an honor, and it pushes us to keep raising the bar. We’re grateful for the recognition and even more excited about what’s next.”
