Mindgruve is seeking a Media Strategist to lead paid media strategy across various omnichannel vendors and platforms, including but not limited to: Google, Bing, sponsored listings, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, and programmatic video, display, audio, etc. Media Strategists mentor and manage Media Specialists, develop plans, oversee media campaign execution, and perform ongoing management of media campaigns to include budget pacing and optimizations, as well as reporting oversight and refinement.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Perform ongoing strategy development across select clients.
  • Work closely with Account team and other Media team members to leverage client business goals and insight to create innovative and effective paid media strategies.
  • Perform ongoing analysis of paid media campaigns, providing clients and internal team members with campaign optimization recommendations.
  • Lead campaign reporting and insight analysis; cadence varies by client.
  • Perform quality assurance of all campaign set up, prior to campaign launch, for assigned clients.
  • Manage one to two (1-2) Media Specialists; providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, feedback, and support.

We Need a Person With:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 4+ years of experience in media planning, media buying, and/or media strategy specific to paid media (channel based on internal needs).
  • 3+ years of client facing experience.
  • The ability to teach and guide specialists on how to effectively use paid search/paid social/programmatic media platforms.
  • Competence in:
    • Paid search platforms: Google and Bing Ads
    • Paid social platforms: Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Programmatic platforms: The Trade Desk, Yahoo!, Amazon, etc.
  • A track record of evolving media campaigns to exceed clients’ performance goals.
  • Exceptional leadership capability with proven track record of managing team members.
  • Experience analyzing data and creating actionable insight from that data.
  • Expert-level knowledge of specific media channel(s).
  • Leadership capability (coaching, mentoring, managing, etc.).
  • Competence in
    • Platform, automation, and industry trends.
    • Media planning and optimization.
    • Web Analytics platforms.
  • The ability to work East Coast hours.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
