Mindgruve’s global media team consists of strategic and tactical experts across our core Media Pillars: Paid Search, Programmatic, Paid Social, Earned Media, Planning & Retail Media. The Mindgruve Retail Commerce division drives strategy across paid media, performance creative and retail operations for global and multi-national brands selling & advertising through the vast ecosystem of retail media networks and marketplaces around the globe. We are seeking a media manager with demonstrated expertise managing and optimizing media campaigns on retail media networks and online marketplaces, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to tackle the challenges of an ever-evolving retail media landscape.

The Retail Media team at Mindgruve leads strategy, activation and optimizations for large buy-side Retail Media brands (CPG, Apparel, Outdoor, etc.) and Commerce clients. The Retail Media Manager, reporting to the Director of Retail Media, will demonstrate the ability to report and optimize client marketing campaigns within Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, Instacart, and other retail media networks. You will play an essential role on client teams to build and execute large-scale campaigns and tests that deliver thoughtful, measurable and effective strategies to drive growth for our clients. You will deliver reporting, insights and projects in a timely manner and within budget plans supporting the team with flawless execution.

You will collaborate with media teams across other pillars, internal leadership, analytics, creative teams, brand managers and the Director of Retail Media to maximize retail media effectiveness through the lens of a unified and multi-faceted marketing strategy. As a Retail Media Manager you will also be responsible for helping mentor and train 1-2 Retail Media Specialists.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Be the media lead for select clients, manage daily tasks, and drive strategy discussions for Retail Media clients and collaborate with Brand Managers on multi-channel retail media strategies for brand partners. 

  • Help brands to plan and develop a budget and then deliver campaigns according to KPIs agreed upon with the client

  • Provide guidance on product optimizations and catalog segmentation to ensure campaigns are set up for success and that all campaigns are meeting and exceeding client expectations.

  • Manage keyword selection and optimal bid levels across available advertising options

  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance insights

  • Establish key metric reports, track progress and trends, and effectively communicate campaign results and insights

  • Manage and deliver AMC cross platform insights and work with the programmatic team to build out custom audiences that are backed by search + DSP data.

  • Actively learn new features within existing tools (e.g. Pacvue) to deliver best in class performance driven by AI.

  • Assist in the collective planning for omni-channel promotional events and marketing activations with clients

  • Maintain a pulse and opinion on industry news, translating marco trends into tailored recommendations and actions for clients

  • Work with teams to identify new opportunities for clients under management, as well as work to quickly resolve any client issues

  • Help mentor and coach 1-2 Retail Media Specialists to achieve individual and team growth. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement with the brand management team. 

We Need a Person With:

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Search Campaigns, Amazon DSP, Trade Desk, Stack Adapt, Walmart, or other ecommerce platforms a plus

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with 3rd party platforms for management and/or reporting (i.e. Pacvue, IntentWise, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of Digital Marketing tenants and marketing journeys/funnels

  • Analytically minded & extremely detail oriented

  • Forward-thinking & eagerness to learn new things (platforms, channels, systems), willingness to ask questions, and work in a collaborative environment

  • Ability to self manage and adhere to deadlines in a fast paced environment

  • Experience with SQL a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. vlookup, filtering, pivot tables)

  • Strong business interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

  • Problem solving—comfortable diving in and conducting analysis to create out of the box solutions

Compensation:

  • Salary: $70k - $80k (commensurate with experience and geographic location)
  • Annual Bonus: TBD

We're seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our office's; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work.
