Position: Brand Management Internship
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The BM Internship is a key contributor to Macarta’s brand management team. As an intern you will learn and be responsible for collaborating with brand managers and internal teams to drive growth and efficiency for Macarta’s brand partners.
- As the BM Intern, you will have a strong analytic foundation and gain/learn in-depth knowledge of our brand partners P&L’s and work alongside the brand management team to identify and evaluate key business issues and growth opportunities for clients.
- You will collaborate with the Brand Management team to analyze and interpret market data to take advantage of opportunities and minimize adverse trends, and identify data driven demand signals to generate business growth in areas for both on and off marketplace opportunities.
- Reportng into the Sr. Brand Manager, with the oversight of the Associate Director, Brand Management, you will work cross functionally with internal teams to create detailed, data backed briefs (around consumer insights, pricing, forecasting, promotions, P&L’s, operations, sales, marketing/advertising and creative) to deliver a clear vision for the future of our brand partners business(es)
- Possesses solid project management skills to work alongside the brand management team and project management team from planning stages to execution and final assessment to achieve our partners objectives and goals.
- Play a meaningful role in all client deliverables, revenue/growth goals and the creation and delivery of all brand initiatives for clients.
- Demonstrate fluency and a deep understanding of the e-commerce flywheel as it relates t o Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and D2C sites.
- Collaborate with Brand Managers on clients marketing and channel mix. Work with the Sr. Brand Manager to review all elements including pricing strategy, active sku management, category management, merchandising strategy, advertising channels and performance trends.
- Conduct and learn an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape of our brand partners categories and have the ability to translate the implications of their business to key stakeholders.
- You will be responsible for assisting in planning, execution and conducting various business initiatives for our clients that include innovation, developing a strategic business roadmap, consumer acquisition trends, annual marketing plans, etc.
- Under the supervision of the Senior Brand Manager you will help develop business objectives and marketing plans for assigned partners/categories, reflecting overall on how marketplaces impact our partners entire business, and execute on plans to deliver against our partners goals and objectives.
- Assist in preparing and building media plans, insertion orders and other planning documents, project, troubleshooting and budget trackers, for Brand Managers and leadership team.
- Provide weekly analysis and insights to key stakeholders as needed that includes reporting around sales, pricing, promotional effectiveness and overall marketplace analysis.
- Work cross functionally with the support of the Sr. Brand Manager and work with supporting teams to manage and evaluate performance testing for new initiatives, messaging, content, ads, and any other innovative and new ideas the team may find.
- Support Brand Managers with any troubleshooting needs, support ticket creation and follow-ups
- Cultivate positive professional relationships with clients, vendors and internal teams
- Compile, organize, and build presentations to aid in all QBRs or otherwise larger client-meetings / presentations
REQUISITES:
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint competency
- Creative thinker and ability to think ‘outside the box’ regarding how to best position branded products within Amazon.com search environment
- Proven track-record of ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in an autonomous work environment.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to shine in a results-driven environment.
COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $18.75/Hour

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
