Position: Media Manager, Retail Commerce
Location: Hybrid, Denver Colorado
Role Description:
The Retail Media team at MindgruveMacarta leads strategy, activation and optimizations for large buy-side Retail Media brands (CPG, Apparel, Outdoor, etc.) and Commerce clients. The Retail Media Manager, reporting to the Director of Retail Media, will demonstrate the ability to report and optimize client marketing campaigns within Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, Instacart, and other retail media networks. You will play an essential role on client teams to build and execute large-scale campaigns and tests that deliver on our strategy for the client. You will deliver reporting, insights and projects in a timely manner and within budget plans supporting the team with flawless execution.
As a Retail Media Manager you will also be responsible for training 1-2 Retail Media Specialists. You will be responsible for collaborating with other Directors, Senior Managers, Brand Managers and the Director to develop plans around MindgruveMacarta’s Retail Media philosophy and best practices, and work to develop processes that will help launch MindgruveMacarta into the future of Retail Media & marketing. You will be tasked with providing a positive work environment that empowers employees to want to learn and grow in their careers, and should act as a positive role model and mentor to all team members.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead client calls, daily client engagements, and drive strategy discussions for Retail Media clients and collaborate with Brand Managers on multi-channel retail media strategies for brand partners.
- Help brands to plan and develop a budget and then deliver campaigns according to KPIs agreed upon with the client
- Provide guidance on product optimizations to ensure campaigns are set up for success and that all campaigns are meeting and exceeding client expectations.
- Managing keyword selection and optimum bid levels across available advertising options
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, analytics, and performance insights for digital marketing campaigns
- Establish key metric reports, track progress and trends, and effectively communicate campaign results and insights
- Manage and deliver AMC cross platform insights and work with the programmatic team to build out custom audiences that are backed by search + DSP data.
- Actively learn new features within Pacvue and Intentwise to deliver best in class performance driven by AI.
- Managing promotional planning calendar for client campaigns
- Having a pulse and opinion on industry news, translating marco trends into tailored recommendations and actions for clients
- Work with teams to identify new opportunities for clients under management, as well as work to quickly resolve any client issues
- Lead, mentor and coach 1-2 Retail Media Specialists to achieve individual and team growth. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement with the brand management team.

REQUISITES
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Search Campaigns, Amazon DSP, Trade Desk, Stack Adapt, Walmart, or other ecommerce platforms a plus
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience working with 3rd party platforms for management and/or reporting (i.e. Pacvue, IntentWise, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Digital Marketing tenants and marketing journeys/funnels
- Analytically minded & extremely detail oriented
- Forward-thinking & eagerness to learn new things (platforms, channels, systems), willingness to ask questions, and work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to self manage and adhere to deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Experience with SQL a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. vlookup, filtering, pivot tables)
- Strong business interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Problem solving—comfortable diving in and conducting analysis to create out of the box solutions

COMPENSATION
- Salary: $75,000 -$90,000/year
- Annual Bonus: TBD
Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits upon requests.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Our headquarters is based in San Diego, California, with additional offices in Covington, Kentucky and Denver, Colorado.
