MindgruveMacarta is seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP, Head of Global Sales to lead our business development team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the performance marketing, retail media, or digital advertising industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and overseeing a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious targets.  

What You'll Do Here:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
    • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance, motivation, and professional growth.
    • Set clear sales goals and KPIs, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders to drive new business and retain existing clients.
    • Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, demonstrating our value proposition and solutions.
  • Sales Operations and Reporting:
    • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of sales performance.
    • Utilize CRM tools and other sales technologies to track performance, manage leads, and streamline sales processes.
  • Collaboration and Alignment:
    • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to set and achieve long-term business goals and objectives.
  • Market and Industry Expertise:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations for strategic growth.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

We Need a Person With:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in performance marketing, digital advertising, or retail media, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a large independent or holding company agency.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and retail media strategies, metrics, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Our headquarters is based in San Diego, California, with an additional office in Denver, Colorado.
