MindgruveMacarta is on a mission to revolutionize the retail industry and become a leading global marketplace agency for brands around the world. As a Designer you will play a critical role in helping lead the Design Team to deliver outstanding service and creative to our brand partners.
As a Designer at MindgruveMacarta, you will support the full scope of Amazon creative for our brand partners, from creating the initial concepts to managing the full execution. We are looking for someone who can jump right in and exercise their graphic design skills in the form of image manipulation, custom graphics, design concepting, marketing content and more. You will report to the Creative Director and be a strong team support for our Junior Designers and Associate Designers in their day to day management of their brand partners as well as helping them grow their knowledge and design skill sets.
We are a collaborative team both internally and with brand partners, so clear communication skills are imperative for the growth of our team and their businesses. This collaborative work environment fosters the growth of a well-rounded skill set and provides opportunities for career development within a rapidly expanding agency.
What You'll Do Here:
- Asset organization & management
- Design strategy across brand catalogs
- Deck presentation design & formatting
- Advertising creative support
- Ability to convey design strategy to brand partners
- Dependable creative resource both internally and externally for our brand partners
- Support for our Jr. & Associate Designers
- Provide design feedback Jr. & Associate Designers
- Provide training and mentorship to any future Design Team hires
- Occasional social media & blog content design
We Need a Person With:
- 3-4 years of design experience
- Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
- Experience in working with other designers
- Experience in a client-facing role preferred
- Amazon experience a plus
- Time management is a must
- Strong communication & organization skills
- Ability to work effectively with deadlines
- Collaborative mentality
- Excel experience is preferred
COMPENSATION
- Salary: $65,000 - $70,000
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance; a flexible spending account; voluntary life and accident plans; and a 401(k) retirement plan with matching. Our headquarters is based in San Diego, California, with an additional office in Denver, Colorado. We're seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our office's; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work. (Bonus points if you’re bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese.)
