We’re seeking a results-driven Email & CRM Marketing Strategist with a successful track record for implementing Email Marketing and Automation campaigns and strategies across a variety of industries, particularly retail. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing email marketing and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) strategies to drive engagement, retention, and conversions for our clients. You'll collaborate closely with the creative team, account managers, and clients to develop effective campaigns that resonate with target audiences and achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to meet client needs.
What You'll Do Here:
- Build comprehensive email campaign strategies and roadmaps for clients and have familiarity enough with email marketing platforms to set up and implement purposed email strategy
- Lead execution of email marketing and automation strategies (nurture programs, sales enablement, lead scoring and grading, segmentation)
- Conduct email audits and present findings to clients to help upsell our email offerings
- Manage workflow of email automation programs including working with project management, creative, and development teams to follow best practices for email
- Become the expert at MindgruveMacarta on email platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, Klaviyo and more
- Write and present email and CRM presentations, assessments and reports for internal teams and clients
- Follow and stay fresh on industry best practices in email channels
- Build and Maintain an understanding of current topics in Email, CRM, Web Analytics, data management, tools and technologies related to the team’s core responsibilities
We Need a Person With:
- Bachelor's degree – preferably in marketing, communications or business management
- 3+ years executing and managing email campaigns
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with email marketing and automation platforms (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, MailChimp, and/or Klaviyo)
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization
- Working knowledge of content marketing & email
- Solid understanding of marketing basics, direct response and interactive marketing best practices
- Experience with retail brands strongly preferred, financial and healthcare brand experience also considered
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once in a high-pressure environment while still meeting deadlines
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance.
- Strong written and oral communication and polished presentation skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through email and CRM channels.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Our headquarters is based in San Diego, California, with an additional office in Denver, Colorado.
