The Project Management Intern, Commerce supports the Commerce Project Management team with the coordination, organization, and documentation of marketplace and retail media initiatives. This role is ideal for someone interested in eCommerce, online retail, and digital marketing who wants to learn how marketplace projects are planned, executed, and delivered within an agency environment.
The intern will gain exposure to Amazon, Walmart, and other retail ecosystems while developing foundational project management skills. They will work closely with Sr. Project Managers, Account Managers, Creative teams, Media teams, and Commerce Operations specialists to support project delivery and ensure work remains organized, on schedule, and aligned with client goals.
What You'll Do Here:
- Learn how marketplace and retail media projects are managed from start to finish.
- Gain exposure to Amazon, Walmart, and other commerce ecosystems.
- Learn the fundamentals of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and workflow management.
- Learn how creative, media, account, and commerce teams collaborate to deliver successful client outcomes.
- Gain experience with agency tools and platforms including Asana, Parallax, Toggl, Slack, Google Suite, and commerce-related systems.
- Assist Sr. Project Managers, Commerce with project timelines, task tracking, and project documentation across marketplace and retail media initiatives.
- Help prepare meeting agendas, meeting notes, status reports, and project recaps.
- Support coordination of product listing updates, catalog management activities, creative asset development, Amazon Brand Store projects, and retail media campaign deliverables.
- Update and maintain project information in Asana, Parallax, and other project management tools.
- Organize project files, creative assets, approvals, and supporting documentation to ensure teams have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
- Attend internal team meetings to observe project planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Assist with research, quality assurance reviews, and administrative tasks related to commerce projects.
- Support reporting efforts by helping gather project data, tracking project milestones, and maintaining documentation.
- Learn agency workflows, project management best practices, and commerce-specific delivery processes.
- Communicate proactively, ask questions, and contribute positively to team discussions.
- Provide general support to help projects stay organized and move efficiently through delivery.
We Need a Person With:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, eCommerce, Digital Media, Project Management or related field.
- Local to the Denver area and able to work a hybrid schedule from our RiNo District office.
- Demonstrated interest in project management, retail media, Amazon, eCommerce, or marketplace operations.
- Experience through coursework, internships, student organizations, retail environments, or digital marketing projects is a plus.
- Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or performance tracking is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Interest in eCommerce, online retail, digital marketing, and marketplace platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Interest in process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Basic familiarity with agency tools (Google Suite/Asana) and eCommerce platforms like Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Shopify, retail media is a plus.
Compensation:
- Non-Exempt: Course/College Credit or $18 per hour (Pay range is based on a market reference point and potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, experience and geographic location of the individual candidate. The compensation range reflects base rate only.)
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
