Director, SEO.
Mindgruve is seeking an experienced and strategic Director, SEO to lead our search engine optimization efforts and drive our digital presence to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, technical expertise, and experience in creating data-driven strategies that align with our business objectives. As the Director of SEO you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our SEO strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize organic search performance, and optimizing our website for search engine visibility and user experience.
What you will do here:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business objectives and drive organic growth.
- Analyze and monitor SEO performance, identifying trends, and developing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, design, and development, to ensure SEO best practices are integrated throughout the organization.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Oversee technical SEO initiatives, including site structure, internal linking, and on-page optimization, to improve crawlability, indexation, and overall site performance.
- Collaborate with the content team to create high-quality, SEO-friendly content that attracts and engages target audiences.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive backlink strategy to improve domain authority, increase referral traffic, and drive organic search visibility.
- Monitor and analyze website analytics, including traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates, to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms to ensure the organization’s SEO strategy remains current and effective.
- Provide regular reports and presentations on SEO performance, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Create and develop estimates for clients projected SEO performance based on recommendations
We need a person with:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of driving organic growth and increasing search engine visibility.
- Strong technical SEO skills, including expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.).
- Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Experience with SEO tools such as BrightEdge, Conductor, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.) and website development best practices.
