Michael Garten Managing Director

Michael is the Managing Director of Mindgruve Los Angeles and San Francisco. He is the lead for the agency’s client engagements as well as the managing director of Mindgruve’s client services capability on the west coast.

Prior to Mindgruve, Michael was Director, Special Events at the NBA where he oversaw all global brand events namely the NBA All-Star Weekend and McDonald’s All American Championship games. Most recently he spent 10 years as Executive Director at the PGA Tour managing the west coast World Golf Championships. With over 20 years of marketing experience across advertising, media, marketing, and technology, Mike has successfully led teams where he drove strategy and value proposition development for several global brands.
